February  13 - for Valentine's Day The Helping Hands Committee is hosting the BMC Sweetheart Dinner at Annie's Breakfast & Lunch Restaurant, Wertzville Road in Enola.  Cost is $15.00 per person.  There will be two buffet dinner seatings (drinks included) to choose from:  5:00-6:30 pm and  7:00 - 8:30 pm.  Door prizes and basket raffle.  BYOB Permitted.  Tickets are non-refundable.  To purchase tickets contact:  Dorothy Kaufman at 717-697-8020 or any other Helping Hands Committee member.

Fort Halifax Festival - The Friends of Fort Halifax will hold the seventh annual Fort Halifax Festival Saturday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the future Fort Halifax Park located about one-fourth mile north of Halifax on Route 147.  Food and entertainment will be available.  The Augusta Regiment, representing in full authentic uniform the men who built the original 1756 Fort Halifax, will present a living history scenario.  Children's games and crafts will be available for the children.  Admission and parking are free of charge.

AACA Gettysburg Region 2010 Car & Truck Show at Latimore Valley Fairgrounds -

Gates open at 7:00 AM, and Judging starts at 11:00 AM!!  Latimore Valley Fairgrounds is located approximately 1 mile east of Route 15 on  Latimore Valley Road (Near Worley’s Fruit Stand).  For detailed directions, click here

The Eastern Museum of Motor Racing, home of the Gettysburg Region AACA, is located at the Latimore Valley Fairgrounds.  Visitors are encouraged to tour the museum while enjoying the show. There is NO ADMISSION FEE to visit he museum!!

(1990 Models & Earlier) will be judged and trophies (1st, 2n , and 3rd) will be available for each of 16 classes (2-17).  Judging will be based on the quality and cleanliness of the vehicle..  The Gettysburg Region reserves the option to combine judging classes if there are insufficient registrants in any class.

Our featured vehicles this year will be:  Chevrolet Camaro's and Pontiac's Firebird's  (ALL YEARS WELCOME!!)

One person made the decision to consume alcohol and put themselves behind the wheel and on the road. That decision changed the lives of many.......   We are their Children, Grandchildren, Husbands, Sisters, Aunts, Brothers, Uncles, Cousins, Friends. Together we will fight to make a difference!

The AACA Museum has joined forces with The PA House Motorsports Caucus to celebrate antique and classic cars from the 1920's to 1970's!

Vehicles for each era will parade from the State Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg to the Capitol grounds and will be available for viewing from 10AM - 2 PM.

AACA 15th Annual Museum Car Show & Flea Market

Date: 6/26/2010
Time: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: The Grounds Surrounding the AACA Museum, Rte. 39

Join the fun at the 15th annual Museum Car Show & Flea Market!   The show opens with registration at 8:00 AM here on the Museum grounds and runs until 3:00 PM.  

The Car Show is open to all pre-1985 vehicles including antiques, classics, street rods, trucks, buses, motorcycles and sports cars!     Other activities will include a 50-50 Raffle, antique car rides and a behind the scenes look at one of the Museum's storage facilities (by donation) including additional vehicles not on public display.

Pre-registration to show a vehicle is $10 and day of show registration will be $15. Download a registration form now. Admission to the show grounds is FREE, admission to the Museum is $10 for Adults, $9 for Seniors (61 & older), $7 for children (4-12 years).  Admission to the vehicle storage facility is by donation.  Antique Automobile Club of America are admitted FREE to the Museum with a valid 2010 membership card.

Special Museum exhibits will include Muscle Car Mania with more than two dozen muscle cars, Pittsburgh's Famous Stainless Steel Cars, and much more!

YORK, PA -  The Heartbeat of America continues at the 9th Annual Musclecar Madness at the York Reunion to be presented at the York Expo Center, York Fairgrounds on July 9-10th.  Only four months until the growling engines rumble into place at the nation's largest independent musclecar and nostalgia drag racing show in the country featuring the annual reunion for the Legends of Drag Racing and the annual reunion for the former York US 30 Dragway.

The show will feature a Salute to Chevrolet and a Tribute to Junior Stock with some of the nation's legends in the sport in attendance, Bill"Grumpy" Jenkins, Ed Hedrick, Larry Lombardo, Wally Bell, Jere Stahl, Bruce Larson and Wally Booth who also shared time with AMC, plus a whole host of other legends too numerous to mention at this time.

July 2010 Update:  Due to concerns about liability issues regarding the club providing alcohol (beer) at the dance the Blue Moon Cruisers membership has voted to not provide beer at the event.  BYOB is also not encouraged.
