PA TURNPIKE CAR SHOW
The 75th anniversary car show was on August 8th at the Sideling Hill Plaza. Cars from across the state and even New Jersey were treated to a great day of fun. 1940's lunch prices, car themed music and a field of beautiful cars was the theme for the day. Anyone stopping at the plaza that day had a real treat. The Blue Moon Cruisers were well represented. Check out the pictures to see history in the making.
New at Fall Carlisle
All new for 2015, Fall Carlisle and Carlisle Events present the North Side Collector’s Corner (or NSCC for short). At a show where finding the rare and unique is part of the swap meet game, this new powerhouse aspect showcases true collectible antiques reflective of a bygone era that are popular among today’s enthusiasts. This concentrated show within the show will be positioned on the north hill of the facility inside a large tent. Within the tent and in the spaces surrounding it, vendors will be handpicked to showcase items that will enhance the standard collectibles and memorabilia made available within the swap meet.
Confirmed already for the inaugural NSCC are dozens of signs that carry a gas or soda theme, old time coolers, battery and coin items (toys, games, various entertainment, etc.) and more. The coolest part of these items are that when they come to Carlisle, it’ll be fresh merchandise. Additional vendors like the one bringing the aforementioned items to Carlisle are booking the NSCC now and best of all, vendors and sellers alike are being screened by event manager Tim DeMark. That screening makes this focused showcase even more special. By vetting this display, buyers and sellers alike can expect a certain level of quality with their purchases; making this new addition to Fall Carlisle a truly unique experience.
